WHAT ARE THE PEBBLES?

AND WHAT IS THE PEBBLE EFFECT?

Physically, when pebbles are thrown into a pool, they create ripples.

Physically, the pebbles in the Pebble Project are tiny pebbles  that are handed to people at Blue Phoenix connections and presentations.

Metaphorically, they are the creators of ripples of

awareness, connection and hope,

spreading out through those people and out through the community

from the presentations and connections that Blue Phoenix makes.

Blue Phoenix is calling it the Pebble Effect – deliberately created to spread ripples containing awareness, connection and hope at the grass roots level – awareness, connection and hope that will dispel the myths and stigma around mental health issues and build a better world for those dealing with those issues.
