10th March 2026: Suzanna and Andrew from Blue Phoenix bravely shared their life stories at the Teneriffe Lions Club dinner. Two professionals enjoying conventional life paths when each had an incident which dramatically affected their mental health.

Blue Phoenix has a simple and direct approach: get out into the Community to talk openly about mental health. Remove mental health stigma by putting a human face to the stories we all read; an approach which really drives home that “this could have been me”.

Blue Phoenix began in 2019. We are now in our 7th year of operation and our 4th of presenting during Queensland Mental Health Week 2025.

YOU ARE INVITED

to this special event, hosted again by Grace Communion.

We acknowledge and value their support of our organisation,

as well as their commitment to changing perceptions around mental health issues.

The stigma and myths around mental health can continue to dissolve due to the support of this church and its congregation.

We are in a welter of preparations for the launch of our Pebble Project.

The invitations have been designed and sent out.

And you are invited too.

The program is designed and ready for printing.

The pebble cards are at the printers too.

We are thinking of adding eyes to the pebbles.

What do you think?
